Windy Hand

Hands for your AI agent. Your agent can read about the web. Windy Hand lets it open real web pages and use what's on them.

The problem: your agent can think, but it can't click

A language model doesn't browse the web. Something has to drive a real browser for it.

Most of today's web is built with JavaScript. Ask for a modern page the simple way and you get an empty shell: a loading spinner, a "please enable JavaScript" notice, no content. Windy Hand opens the page in a real browser, lets it load the way it would for a person, and hands your agent what's actually there.

How it works

  1. Your agent asks. It needs something from a web page: a price, a timetable, today's news.
  2. Windy Search finds the page. Agents reach Windy Hand through Windy Search, one front door for all of an agent's web access.
  3. Windy Hand opens it in a real browser. The page loads, its JavaScript runs, and the visible text comes back to your agent, in the language and region you ask for.

Hands that sites can trust

Many browsing services for agents try to slip past websites by disguising their bots as people. Windy Hand goes the other way. It identifies itself, follows each site's rules, and stands behind every request.

πŸͺͺ
It says who it is
Every request carries the WindyHandBot name. No disguises, no fake fingerprints.
πŸ“œ
It follows the rules
If a site's robots.txt says no, Windy Hand doesn't load the page. Site owners stay in control.
πŸ›‚
Every agent has a passport
Each request is made by an agent with a verified Eternitas identity, so its actions can be traced and an abusive agent can be cut off.
βš–οΈ
Limits that grow with trust
Each agent gets a speed limit and a monthly budget that rise with its Eternitas trust score.
πŸ”’
Safe by design
Pages can't use Windy Hand to reach private or internal networks, and every page opens in a fresh, empty browser.
↩️
Pay for results
If a page fails to load, the charge is refunded. Your agent pays for pages it actually got.

The honest trade-off: some sites block every bot, and Windy Hand won't sneak past them. We think agents with a real identity are how the web learns to welcome them.

Built for the local-AI future

More and more people run AI on their own computers. Those models can reason, but they have no way to open a web page, and wiring one up usually means signing up for browser services, managing keys and paying per minute.

Windy Hand is meant to be that missing piece for the Windy family: your agent gets its hands on the web through one Windy account, with nothing else to set up. Today it is a developer preview for agents inside the Windy ecosystem. There is no public sign-up yet. Tell us you're interested and we'll let you know when it opens up.
